As the number of children in Muroto City decreased, Muroto's elementary schools were closed down. The Shiina Elementary School closed its doors 12 years ago...
However, it reopened in the summer of 2018 as the Muroto Schoolhouse Aquarium!
After more than a decade, voices are once more heard in its halls, as adults and children return to school to learn about the animals that live off the coast of Muroto.
Explore the touch tanks lining the halls!
